Today, there is a global move to zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) and Isuzu is poised to meet customer expectations with the release of our new 2025 NRR EV. In this course, we’ll look at some of the terminology associated with zero-emission vehicles and be exposed to the proper safety protocols that must be adhered to when near a high-voltage system.
The name Isuzu has become synonymous with innovation in transportation. Isuzu continues that tradition with its first battery electric truck: the 2025 NRR EV. This course will describe how this battery electric vehicle, or BEV, works. We’ll take a look under the cab and learn about the NRR EV’s internal components, and how the truck stores and transfers power.
(This course must be completed to satisfy the requirements for the Isuzu N-Series EV Dealer Readiness Program Standards.)
This training module focuses on high voltage awareness and necessary personal safety protocols near electric vehicles. You'll learn about the danger of high-voltage electricity and its effects on the human body. You'll also learn what Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for anyone servicing Electric Vehicle high voltage systems to protect yourself.
